Not sure if this is a bug, but I've been staying in the Inn for over a Week straight, and the new NPC has not yet appeared.

I assume it might be because they don't appear unless I'm somewhere else to allow them to spawn in?

I'm playing from an old save btw.

And the other new NPC? Do they work properly on both old saves and on new ones made on the Hotfix?

Do the 1.6.0 patch notes contain a hint to get us started on finding them? Other than that they be new?

Same, just found them. For anyone else looking for the second new NPC, the 1.6.0 patch notes do include a hint.

I've moved to the new version and am still having the same issue this person reported I think. I even found where their cabin should be while exploring near the deep forest, but no cabin appears. I've got a new save from this version that I made to test this, and with them I can find the cabin.

Again, you have to load your untouched version 1.5 save. If you've already loaded the save in 1.6.0, then saved it, then loaded that 1.6.0 save in 1.6.0b, he won't be fixed.
