I've let our admins know about your ticket, but please read the rules of this category where it says the forum is for community support. No-one here can answer your questions. I don't know the policies followed by itch.io staff and they might disagree with you about them.

Thank you for passing it along. I have read the rules, and do understand the scope of the forum. The only reason I am resorting to asking for support here is because of how long the supposedly proper channels have failed me. Since the forum description states staff "may monitor this forum", and community input from people who may have undergone similar issues would be valuable to me, I still consider my post adequate and on-topic. Please let me know if that's not the case.

Aside from that, regardless of whether I eventually get support, I think it's worth making this post as a means of documenting this issue somewhere visible to the community, so people finding themselves in a similar situation in the future can find it, see what I've tried, and what (if anything) worked.
