It's unfortunate to have gotten stuck multiple times in that room. But it looks like you've done your best out there.
And thanks, I appreciate it!
Out of curiousity, how did found this game?
I enjoyed everything, except the two a**holes in the tower.
I’m rather hooked on games where you have to explore, and especially if the game comes with a map (like this one).
In most RPG games, the game decides when you have to fight, which can be both annoying and repetitive. In this game, the player decides when to fight. Mostly, you can avoid the foes if you want to quickly move from one area to another, which is a big plus in games like this.
Edited: And if your question meant, how did I find this game among all others. I searched “free RPG maker games (or was it metroidvania?), top rated” and went deep into the list. If I see a very few people having given a game 4 to 5 stars, it’s worth trying. I have found some really gems that way, and been thinking it’s sad the games haven’t been discovered by more people.
Edit II: Recommended, "Prom Dreams: A High School Love Story", a gem I found on this site and which I played a few years ago. It's full of dialogue, which I usually hate, but it's the first and only time I've been touched by the plot in a video game.
Ohh, that's a really cool initiative!
I'm also a big fan of finding hidden gems, or just been there for the people that could use it.
I appreciate your efforts to help smaller devs out there.
I wouldn't mind been small myself, it makes contact with each other more humble and approachable, and it makes me appreciate any attention the game gets.
I should try going back to playing small indies myself, there's a huge collection out there and it's fun to get inspired by them again.
Thanks for your reply!
