Thank you Seb. This is sort of a learning experience for me as to how folks view tower defense or "defend the cart" games. Most people seem to think that you should be able to clear the level with perfect scores. I kinda thought of it as getting a perfect score should be kinda impossible, but theoritically possible with the "perfect playthrough". TBH the team wasn't very decisive about what type of game this would be, we just kinda started with "there should be greasers attacking your car wash and you have to fight them".... If I had to develop it further myself (personally) I would do away with scores and bring $$ into the picture for having cleared cars through, kinda like the car owners are paying you as the car wash, then be able to purchase upgrades + different weapons + helper NPC's etc etc.

I agree that perfect should be pretty hard to get, that makes sense and has some challenge, but I was struggling a bit just to get Ds and Cs - that may be more of a reflection on me though rather than the balance! I think some sort of reward and upgrade system would make sense, especially with the car wash theme, and would also make things a bit more varied. Still a great job though!
I learned a lot about myself too, I'm a bit too much of a perfectionist for game jams haha. (Lead programmer here). I should have allowed a bit more time for upgrades, instead of focusing on precise enemy movements for instance... To be fair though, this is the first game I've ever built, and I'm very proud of myself and the entire team for putting this together.
