This is a cool little prototype! I liked the freeze mechanic, I think the only other game I saw it in is Mortal Kombat. I really liked the character/enemy design, did you do them yourself? This hand-drawn art style looks awesome. My advice would be - try to play with character controls/physics a bit more to make it feel even smoother. There’s a nice tutorial/utility from Mark Brown about platformer controls, I highly recommend it.
