Very strange. Have you tried downloading it via the website? Just tried it out and it worked. Please be advised that the game will not work for new MacOS versions.
I've tried Firefox browser as well, along with turning off extensions and trying itch.io's alternative download mode. Still couldn't get it working, and I could download other itch.io games fine.
