Thanks for playing.

You get money the further your Fatguy makes it in the lobster pool. You can upgrade each Fatguy’s Weight stat by going to the left of the hub area to get him some greasy grub (or some salad—yuck!) by going to the right you can meet Mr. Slick a slippery salesman who sells you increased Slickness. These upgrades are only for the current Fatguy, once he’s in the lobster pool he’s gone forever and your next Fatguy starts back at the default Weight and Slickness.

Then there’s push force which you can buy from Mr. Slick’s vending machine which is a permanent upgrade that carries between runs since it’s you that is learning how to better push people over. Just make sure you set your push force before leaving Mr. Slicks. You can also adjust the slide angle prior to pushing your Fatguy. Pressing the left and right arrow keys in the air help you manage air drag, but let’s be honest Fatguys aren’t very aerodynamic.

The progression in this game really starts to snowball after you get a couple push force upgrades and can afford to max out weight and slickness. Average time to beat has been about 15 minutes in my experience.
