Fun game. I wasn't able to afford any upgrades until close to the end. Maybe consider making them cheaper at first? I'm a little iffy on the mechanic of sitting in sun pools. I think it's cool conceptually, but I think needing to just sit in the sun every once in a while doesn't really add much. Maybe there are other ways to implement this mechanic? Also I like shattering stone trolls conceptually, but I'm not sure it adds anything since you can only shatter them once they're already defeated basically. Maybe if they came out of stone form after a short time. That would add some urgency for actually shattering them.

I really loved the music and how it changes in and out of combat. I think it really captures the vibe of delving into a dangerous/mysterious cave.

Really cool game though. I enjoyed it. Well done!

I appreciate the feedback concerning the shop and agree that making upgrades more accessible early on would improve the gameplay. I also like your idea for the stone trolls coming back after a certain period of time to  give the player a reason to smash them. 

For a future update, we are considering making the sunlight drift in and out after a period of time so that the player can't farm light and shoot all the trolls. But to your point, we are definitely wanting to improve how the sunlight works overall.
