Wow this is great, this is your first game jam entry? I think you might have something quite special here!

The graphics are beautiful, the concept is clear, and it's very satisfying to play. I especially love the little button to start the conveyor belt, it means you have time to familiarize yourself with the controls and the environment before the game starts, and it's something you happen across while exploring. It's subtle but feels more natural than some kind of 'press space to start game' that I would have done lol

  • At first, I assumed that the packages had to go in the hole based on the number of stripes the packages had - i.e. 1 stripe = hole 1, two stripes = hole 2 etc. I think this is because the holes are numbered, and they're numbered with roman numerals which look like stripes. And with only a few parcels for reference, there was no comparison to notice the different band colors until later.
  • Seeing as how important direction is in this game, I think mouse controls would have been better than WASD as it's quite difficult to position yourself right, especially as the game is isometric which rotates the angles by 45 degrees
  • As you start getting more packages, I think some kind of 'kick' function would be helpful to knock packages that are stuck on top of each other.

You know, if you removed the timer and adjusted the concept to be more of an incremental game I think this would be a lot more fun. The timer makes the game feel rushed to play, compared with a zen sorting game that slowly gets more chaotic, which I think would be more enjoyable.

Anyway good luck, I really enjoyed this one.
