Welcome to my first ever game jam! I'm hosting this game jam as a kind of celebration for hitting 20k subscribers on YouTube, but the plan is to do this annually in the coming years :)

I'll also be giving away a $100 prize... so you should probably read the rest😉

Anyway, whether you're an experienced game developer, or just getting into game dev, this jam is aimed at those looking to get another project under their belt! This is going to (hopefully) be a super chill game jam, so you should definitely join up :D

I tried to list as much information as possible below, but if you have any questions, feel free to @ me on Discord! (Discord server invite)

Theme - (to be decided)

(see below for more info)

Phase 1 - THEME SUGGESTIONS

Starts now! Suggest/submit a theme through this Google form: https://forms.gle/S3oxGgNw5mG3oQqV9

Phase 2 - THEME DECIDED

The final theme will be announced directly before the game jam starts, and I'll be streaming it! Be sure to stop by my YouTube Channel or Twitch to watch the theme picked live, otherwise I'll send updates on my socials.

Phase 3 - JAM WEEK

You'll get 7 full days to create your project, upload it to itch, and submit it to this jam. Don't forget to share updates through the Discord server, or use #queblejam on SM posts! :D

Phase 4 - VOTING

There will be 1 full week after the jam ends - this will be dedicated to voting. Make sure to play and rate as many games as possible! I'll also be doing the same live on stream!

Phase 5 - WINNER ANNOUNCED! $100 prize

The winner of the jam will be announced after the voting period ends (I'll also be streaming this on YouTube and Twitch).

I will reach out via your game's itch page to get in contact with the jam winner, so make sure to keep your notifications on! (you can also reach out to me directly, but I will obviously need proof). From here, I will PayPal or Venmo the $100 prize to the winner directly.
