It's unforgiving which is kind of sad and i know that's a me-issue because I suck at this unforgiving a platformer (I bought VVVV and VVVVV on steam because I totally respect this genre because as a GenX'er i grew up with some games being just brutal before things softened, but because it's painful to lose like that I don't play them much).
That said:
as a -critic-:
a) because I do a lot of geometric art in my artwork for my music tracks, I found this aggregate effect on me calming of how simple the visuals are.
b) the music is spot on brilliantly simple to match the graphics.
So I absolutely gave this high marks because even though I'm bad at the game I totally understood what you were aiming for and I think you achieved it.
