Ooh that looks amazing. Love the characters! Tried to make a dungeon crawler myself at one point but it seemed such a massive undertaking I got discouraged. How’s the coding been? Is the first picture a mockup or do you have this much running already?

Making a sequel to one of my games this year. Started a couple of days early and the character art is old. The jam page said old prototypes were fine so figured starting a bit early was alright. But I’ll inform about my headstart in the submission page and probably releasing a couple days early. Don’t really care about my ranking that much, just hoping I get this project finally done. Haven’t gotten much done the last couple of days, got sick and not that sure about the stats system so I’ve been procrastinating.

Thank you! I planned to focus on code in the first week, but kept getting distracted by my desire to get a better idea of what it will all look like, so I made a few semi-finished sprites first, and the screenshot is mostly a mockup at the moment. I have a lot of experience with making grid-based games, so hopefully the coding this week will go smoothly and you'll be able to walk through a randomized map to strip a goblin at the end of it.

I'm excited to see how your project turns out, the art and concept are really neat! Hypnothick was fantastic, and you've made a lot of fun little games since then too, so I'm eager to see your newest creation!

Well time well spent, the mockup looks stunning! Yeah was intressed how the coding part was going since I gave up on one after looking into it. But with your experience you absolutely got this!

Thanks so much! Don’t think this will be as good as Hypnothick but I’ve been meaning to make this sequel for so long. The first one was pretty popular though, hopefully people like more of the same stuff.

Thanks! Yeah hopefully I can finish it, been a very slow dev week. But I usually get things rolling pretty fast once I get the motivation.
