I am not in the US or a US citizen. I'm from a country that has a Tax Treaty with the US. I’ve provided all Tax info via the form and now twice by email to tax support with no reply. How do I get this sorted so I can process the payouts?
Did you e-mail the company that runs the tax interview, or itch.io support? If it's the latter, please post your ticket ID here like the rules of this category say.
what can you do, do they just keep my money forever? I can’t even do a withdrawal without the applied tax deductions. It’s just a contact support message.
59 days later it has been resolved, I posted here, emailed both the tax support and itch support and I check in today on Itch to see the payouts went through. Despite all the heckling I did my guess is that the Tax support are probably just really backed up.
congrats! my issue was solved today as well actually.
i didn't receive any email about my tax status but it magically becomes validated in December, yet i still didn't get the payout, so i asked in itch discord (they've been extremely busy in January) and got the payout today, happy days!
