I feel like the ship has literally NO reason to be THIS fast when the screen is so zoomed in. It just feels unpleasantly unwieldy to control. All the asteroids are so close together, and I feel like maneuvering around them, and trying to snag the ore would need some sort of fine control, but there's absolutely none of that here. And the "combat" is similarly hurt: all the flying saucers just spawn in at random, there's no way to predict or dodge them, and flying away from them doesn't even seem to help since they're on every side of you all the time. It's a neat concept, but it feels like it goes too fast. The gameplay is far too frantic during points of action to consider slowing down or that sort of thing to avoid arousal buildup, and when you're not in combat, you're usually only doing one thing anyways: either moving or zapping.
This has a lot of potential, it's a really interesting mechanic idea, but as it is, the game is far too fast-paced for there to be anything close to the complexity like what you described in your devlog.
