Suggestion for planned Aseprite file integration

Hi! I absolutely love this program and over the past year I've really been enjoying how much it streamlines my animation workflow when there's a lot of sprite work to be done. I've been eagerly awaiting Aseprite integration for Pixelover as it would save me a huge step between drawing and importing, but in my current process, I've found that the most tedious aspect of moving between the programs is having to manually input the Z-axis information for each layer, which can get a little tiresome when a sprite has a lot of moving parts. I think it would save a lot of people a lot of time if you can find some way to automatically convert layer position from Aseprite into Z-axis position once Aseprite integration is finally out. I understand that Aseprite also supports Z-axis data itself, but having an option to between reading Aseprite's Z-axis data and layer position when importing a file into Pixelover would give people a lot more options in navigating their workflow.

Thanks again for building such an awesome program!

Hi, thank you for your feedback and support! Yes for sure the layers will be well ordered the same way than in Aseprite when the Aseprite file loader will be added. And I didn't know about that Aseprite has Z-axis data stored, I'll have a look about this. Thank you again!
