Love the software, but having the issue that my tracks also don't play when doing Direct Streaming. Switching to Download & Play works, but a tad slow. Am using a proxy via Pangolin and a cloud server, but that hasn't been a problem for other apps like on my smartphone (using Manet on iPad and iPhone). 

Noticed that when I connect via IP it does seem to work, so that might push you further in a useful direction? Keep up the good work!

Out of curiosity, when using Direct Streaming, is there a certain amount of time that elapses before it gives up or does the app instantly not play it?

I have added an option to set the proxy URL which will directly affect how songs are loaded from your Jellyfin server, you can find this under the new "Proxy" header:



There is also an option which changes the streaming endpoint which may help resolve this issue



I would like you to test this whenever convenient if possible please. I'm happy to send over an updated build to you via Email or Discord (@alexcjw), alternatively this addition will be available in the upcoming version 2.1 which will be released very soon

Hey Alex,

Thanks for the reply! I'll send you a message on Discord as well so we can test. The play basically starts immediately and rushes through every song of the album, as if they are all 0 seconds and just goes straight to the next one. And then once the album has gone through, it becomes unplayable in the app.
