TLDR; Yes. The author is actually rewriting the story, and was active on Tumblr in August 2025. So just sit tight! The author is, as far as I aware, not in fact dead. If you want to know more, well.. It's 4:00 in the morning and I'm tired. Go check the author's Tumblr lol
