Good logic to the puzzles and amusing, quality art. I can’t see a play-based reason why one should have to redo something, however, if an item is picked up out of order. That’s just tedious.

Thanks for the kind words on the puzzles and art—means a lot! 😊 You're spot on about the 'redo' frustration with the one-item inventory. It's 100% intentional (and a loving nod to retro classics like Adventure (1979), where you could carry just one item at a time—drop the sword to grab the key, backtrack like a pro. Or Dragon Slayer (1984) or Myst (1993), same strict 'one gadget only' rule that forced epic memory & planning.

I loved Myst. But in that one, if you had unlocked something, it stayed unlocked. That’s a different issue than only being allowed to carry one item at a time.
