Not gonna lie, my social anxiety was killing me the entire time, but somehow I read on. From Swift's optimism/determination, to the variety of colorful (and fun!) characters or cause of the fact I've never been to a con, something kept me going. Despite all the awkwardness and stress, I really enjoyed the read. I felt safe the entire time, not sure how to describe it. Experiencing it through Swift's eyes was very freeing in a way, reminding me of my past social adventures. It was pretty realistic imo, especially how it ends. A very eventful, unapologetic lens into what going to a con might feel like.
