This sounds really cool, I like the idea of save features and weather effects are awesome. Do you plan on releasing this for any other platforms such as Steam when it's finished? I look forward to seeing how this game turns out!

I do in fact plan on having the game on steam when its finished, for sure! Perhaps sooner rather than later.
This version of the game should be playable this weekend if everything goes roundly. Since it will be the first big update, i will make it available both as executable, windows and linux, and webgl.
