Very cool atmospheres! I definitely didn't catch what the theme/meaning/story is, but I enjoyed the ride. Visuals were 10/10, the robot's animations were very nice to look at, and it was fun to find all the little collectibles, though I couldn't find a way to switch between the hats, which I would have liked.

I agree with people saying the bar on the right felt confusing, together with the fires. I guessed it was a "the robot is freezing" meter and when you were next to a fire it would pause, but there wasn't much to do next to most of the campfires so I didn't find them very useful.

I also noticed many people being confused by the camera transitions (which I LOVED) and I noticed you made a mistake I learnd about in filmmaking school, so I'll share it with you! Usually, since in our culture we're used to read from left to right, we tend to see characters who go from left to right as if they're going forward, while those who go right to left usually feel like they're coming back from somewhere. Unless your intention is actually to confuse the player, it's better to keep the same direction during transitions, so  if in one camera's footage our character's got to move from left to right, you should probably stick to that direction (more or less) with the second one too. I want to comment though on the fact that I noticed you kept a little momentum with the character's movement as the pov changes, and that's really helpful, so good job!

Anyhow, it was a very nice experience, and I hope you continue making such cool stuff!

Thank you for such a detailed comment!

Glad you enjoyed the world, when I first planned out the items I actually wanted you to have to stick with what you pickup even if you don't like it, though later I realized it might be nice if you could at least put on your old hat if you didn't like the new one but I ran out of time.

You are right about the meter, it is sort of a health bar that is always going down but will go down far quicker during a storm/extreme fog (when the sirens go off) and ideally the player would stay by the fire during these periods, I didn't want to explain it properly in game but I absolutely could of made it clearer with some more hints of sorts.

Super happy you liked the transitions, and thank you for the info! I believe the original Mario game had a sort of similar impact on our culture with games where going to the right is going further in the level. Very cool to hear it's the same in film!  I did for sure struggle with camera placements and angles so this is nice to learn, not sure if I'll have an effect like this in any future projects but I hope I can apply this someday!

Glad you enjoyed!
