Very cool idea! I was a bit confused as to why you need to switch views at first because I didn't realise that the fish would be at different depths, I didn't understand why I kept missing the fish and then it clicked! It immediately made me think of Fez, was that an inspiration? The art style is cool too and looks very cohesive. The only thing I found annoying was the automatic view switching, and I agree with other commenters that being able to rotate around could be an improvement, it might give a better sense of the depth. Overall I think this has a lot of potential if you decide to expand it, I'd be interested to see what puzzles you can come up with!

Thanks so much for playing and the feedback!

Do you think both auto view switches are annoying, or specifically the one after your fishing hook returns?

Fez wasn't an inspiration but you're the second person to mention it, definitely interested in checking it out!

The main inspirations that came up in our development were crane machines, the Club Penguin fishing minigame, and Captain Toad :)
