What event is in the gallery? The one where you meet him for the first time?
All you need to do to unlock Chomusuke in that screen is to see "Doorway Effect". Go to Megumin's room during the night and you should see it
Will probably revisit that menu later and make some changes

Doorway Effect is just a short scene with MC sitting on the bed talking to the cat. Nothing particularly earth-shattering. 😼
