still alive c:

That's something I'd love to do tbh. My current job is very demanding which leaves me with little to no free time, and then I spiral into thinking that I should add more content to compensate for less frequent updates, which gets out of hand :)

Thank you for the detailed feedback and suggestions! Glad you've enjoyed the game so far

Still here, still working :)

glad you've enjoyed the game so far!

meow :3

very much alive

You're welcome!

I think someone actually made a mod like that before, although I can't remember where I've seen it posted

I'll see what I can do then, need to do some profiling

What is the phone you're running on? I've tested on Google Pixel and Xiaomi Mi Mix, and while the latter is noticeably slower than the former, it was still serviceable

I'm still working on it but I'm swamped with work IRL so finding the time for the game is difficult.

Size-wise it's going to be the same as all the other updates really; I'm planning to wrap up the Rookie Killer storyline and add a few character scenes

Depends on your platform. On PC, right click or ESC. On mobile, swipe back / back button

Can you try lowering graphics settings and see if it improves performance?

What's stopping you from pressing back to exit out of options menu?

Then the Back Swipe gesture should work for you

Glad you've enjoyed the game so far!

I'm working on the next update and hoping to release it soon; it's mostly story-focused but I've added a couple new items there

Sorry for the late response, your message got caught by itch for some reason so it wasn't posted for nearly four months!

The combat system in the game is inspired by Octopath Traveler, I'd suggest checking it out! The guild system is something I came up on my own, and afaik it's not really a thing anywhere else

So I just found out that itch has an automatic "spam detector" and a bunch of legitimate comments were flagged and put into pending queue (the existence of which i was not aware of at all). I've restored a few, but there are far too many that span back years, so if your comment was mistakenly flagged I'm sorry! I'll be checking it from now on

P.S. Wish that spam detector would detect ACTUAL spam smh

Bullseye :)

I'm working on language pack support, so we'll have localization in the future

If you're talking about the construction work, it only increases the day counter if you're below 3 days. It is intended as a last resort and not as a stable source of income & increasing the counter

I'm going to add a cheat I think, some people have complained about this

Tbh I think no matter what happens with itch, I'll keep working on the game regardless. It's always been a passion project, and even if its discoverability takes a hit it's not going to be a show-stopper for me

I guess we shall have to wait and see how the situation develops. Hopefully, this is indeed a temporary measure.

Still here :)

In general its a good practice to not trust everything you download off the internet. Executable files in particular can be malicious; your PC is doing its job by warning you about that possibility

Glad you've enjoyed the game so far and thank you for the high praise!

I'm planning to touch on the major plot points (the trip to Arcanletia, Crimson Village, Royal Capital), but it won't be a carbon-copy of the original series.

I appreciate the offer but I think we've got enough music! Thank you again

I really hate locking content behind paywalls so everything is going to be available publicly.

When it's ready :)

I was aiming to release it this month but had too much on my plate at work; might still make it, otherwise it'll have to be August

We're pretty close to wrapping up Episode 1 :)

(1 edit)

I've implemented it from scratch and there's unfortunately no tutorial (or at least not that I'm aware of); I was planning on releasing the combat parts of my game as a framework but never got around to actually doing it.

You're welcome to take a look at the game's code and hopefully that would give you a good idea on how it's working! It's not very well documented and honestly kind of a mess in certain places, but it might help

I don't really plan on adding romantic endings at all (instead keeping the game a sandbox). There will be differences in routes and events depending on your chosen partners, but given that I'm the only one working on this game the most feasible development plan for me is to focus on the harem route.

Sylvia will be playing a major role in Crimson Village Episode, as the main antagonist at first

Soon :)

Hi! As a matter of fact, I've implemented a localization framework in an earlier build, so I do plan on including localization packages in the future. Haven't gotten around it just yet, and I want to at least finish Episode 1 before doing that

Check out Megumin's room at night :)

with lots of work and patience :)

quite likely I'd say

We'll probably never see Eris simply because she shares her name with Eris in Konosuba, which not only will confuse players but also wouldn't fit thematically since Konosuba's Eris is a major deity
