(I literally made an account to write this comment, lol.)

Wow! I accidentally stumbled upon this game when looking for mouse-played fan-made Digimon games quite a few months ago. Even back then, it was ALMOST my dream coming true (Cyber Sleuth, but instant mouse-click playable, as opposed to that SLOW shit of unnecessary graphics). That is, a Digimon game with BRANCHING and TWO-WAY Digivolutions, which is the staple of the Digimon concept, yet had been almost fully absent from the official games (until Cyber Sleuth, but see above) for some dumb reason. And then I saw your game (and Digital Tamers 2 by dragonrod342, which is just as great, yet it's sadly also SLOWER gameplay-wise). I was very impressed, indeed. I downloaded the latest update now, but haven't played much of it yet, besides the new parts of the Story Mode. But I opened the Database. And saw OVER ONE THOUSAND entries of actual Digimons and Digital Lfe Forms (you know what I mean, lol). That's... HUGE. Now I'm absolutely Gotta LOAD Them All!!! Mwahahaha!!!

Huge thanks to you in advance, and I hope eventually see more of Inheritable/Learnable Attacks (haven't checked how they work now, but I recall you had some very basic mechanic already started). Ah, and maybe you will be the first one to actually implement Card Slash as well, who knows. See ya next update! MWAHAHAHA!!!

EDIT: Well, I've played a bit now. Even more WOW, lol! You expanded the world map "quite a bit", indeed.

EDIT: Okay, one major complaint. Sorry (not really), but you made very inefficient UI for unlocking "rooms". Say, I need to complete a previous "room" 3 times. I have to beat it once, then click back from the "world screen", and either go the full clicking routine twice (or more, if it's 5 victories), or have to choose "x10", and then RUN in the middle of it (unless I don't mind unnecessary grinding, which I very much DO hate). That's VERY inefficient UI-wise.

EDIT: Lol, it seems I've beaten the current instance of your game (the enemy with LVL 999). Of course, I used Cheat Engine for money (because I already told you how much I hate pointless grinding), but probably didn't use it for leveling (not sure, it was all those months ago, and my yesterday's save already had Merciful Mode for easy farming of EXP, from all the way back then, so I only used it on Tamer Points, and even that just to not waste my focus on it, while exploring your new map). Speaking of the MAP... Wow, just WOW! No spoilers for other players, but the implications are stunning already. And this is just Alpha, whereas you said there will be Beta as well, probably expanding on a lot of stuff even further (as in, not just bug fixing and stat adjusting). Really, this is VERY impressive. Congrats on doing it VERY RIGHT.

Thank you for the comment! :3
Inheritable attacks are learned by defeating digimon from levels rookie to mega, you get one based on the attribute and stage of the defeated digimon (the chance to obtain the skill is lower the highest the stage but the skill is stronger)
there is two secret skills that are dropped by two specific digimon, because i find it fun, you can guess them easily but as a clue: they are digimon from the two special types

there is an auto option now to speed up the grinding but yeah, i know going back to the map every time is annoying, thats why i added the x10 and x100 options to begin with, i will fixed the code so its a better ui when i move from alpha to beta because the only fix would require me to code everything from scratch (that is already the plan when i move to beta)

I just updated the game so i hope you enjoy it, the final challenge got harder now so you should try to complete it again, i also reccomend using the skill "difficulty enjoyer" to raise the difficulty in the new map if you are already that high level

thank you again for the nice comment and i hope you enjoy my game :3

I definitely enjoy it, despite having cheated to "beat" it this much faster (again, solely because I hate grinding, rather preferring to go "Dex Hunting", which I still have a few HUNDRED of entries to go for, as of now).

The solution would simply be to allow the player to input the number of rounds they want to fight in a row (say, "4", to get from "1 win" to "5 wins" without running or excessive grinding). And, well, this is only a problem for a "cheater" like myself, who wants to go through ALL rooms as FAST as possible. Otherwise, a normal player would still need to beat each room MANY DOZENS of times, if they wanted to go for "completion", or maybe even just for grinding itself.

I got the way the Digimon learns new attacks already in my previous playtesting, I was talking about hoping for that to CHANGE to something more controlled and more "teachable", as in NOT needing to "steal" attacks from NPCs (which is weird and very much NOT "Card Slash", if not the exact opposite of it). Basically, this way it's now impossible to learn attacks from any NON-NPCs Digimon, which there are tons of, as far as I can see from the Dex.

Gonna check the UPDATE, thanks in advance, lol.

Good luck with making the game even greater, hehehe.
