another question is what is copper in-game? becus in astroids i see orange stuff but the tutorial doasent count it as copper tho it culd be that it isnt copper.
You have to get the ore in your inventory (from the cargobox). Hookguns place the collected ore in the ship inventory (cargoboxes). I think it's located near the weapons. Only copper ore is orange. In the manaual/display block near the water tank you can scroll to the page where all the ores are listed.
