I understand the frustration. I wish I could move faster with things, especially with how infrequent the updates are for specific characters. I'm not writing in episodes, but rather building up content over time, which unfortunately means that some updates will be less interesting than others. December, which was when this update was being written, sadly was a busy month, with holidays and preparations taking a huge chunk out of it, and this update has indeed been shorter than our usual ones.

This one has the ending for Day 4 for Mikko, then the beginning of Day 5 and the breakfast. Stiff is intentional and makes sense when you read into what's happening between the two and where has the previous night left them.

The upcoming updates starting with v0.55 will mostly be for all the characters, focusing more on slice of life scenes with the whole case before we conclude the routes, as a final wholesome goodbye. As it's been the case with all previous days, mornings and middays are light in tone, and everything takes on a more sombre and personal note after sundown. I can say that the next update specifically for Mikko will be much more meaty and you can look forward to it, however it will again be a while before it happens. In the meantime, all the characters will get equal spotlight in the few upcoming updates.

Then take your time. I’ve said it before, I don’t mind waiting. But if you’re going to release a new build, it needs to be worth it. I’m not asking you to work faster. I’d rather wait longer if it means the build is worth it, instead of getting something sooner but poorly made. (Btw, I know that the stiffness is intentional, but the execution and writing could be much better. Rather than feeling natural, their conversations and interactions just feel awkward and unpolished for me).
