Pretty creepy! The atmosphere is tense and the first couple times the dude appears is really jarring! Unfortunately, I was a little confused on how to progress, since everywhere I turned they seemed to spawn :c I would love to know how you made the pseudo-3D style, though - very impressive!

It may look complex, but this is actually classic tilemap-based raycasting, just implemented within 2D Godot. It’s not that hard to create if you roughly understand how it works
The game is indeed quite challenging (maybe I pushed it a bit too far), so I’m thinking about recording a full playthrough for players who might get stuck at certain points, to make the experience a bit more accessible
