Thanks, I'm glad you liked it!  So to get past the kitchen part, if you go to the far wall away from the door, there is a ball on the counter.  Use the mouse to drag the ball and knock the key off of the fridge.  Then, once the key is on the ground, you can press E when standing over it, then you can leave and go in the basement.  (Make sure the key didn't fall on another counter)  The ball is a drag and drop so you have to hold the left mouse button down to use it.  Thanks for playing!
