I really like this game: the idea is really fun and when it works it's really enjoyable. However, there are some bugs and features that make it really annoying to play.
Firstly, in the first few levels you get ingredients which serve no purpose, like salt in the second level (there's nothing you can do with it except sell it and it means you barely get any olive oil). Same for tomatoes to a lesser extent in the first level. Also, I think you should start with a recipe book as the first time i did the first level I didn't get a single recipe card but at the same time in later levels sometimes I get loads of duplicate cards. It might work well if recipes were unlocked by discovery, possibly separately to the main levels (so there's less of a time pressure).
Also, in level 3, the oven hasn't been unlocked, making it impossible to complete the foccacia recipe which is really annoying as a player, same for the pan in level 4 (I gave up after level 4 because I couldn't deal with not having the tools I need for the recipes). I also feel like the scaling is weird because by level 4 you have seven types of mystery bag and your screen quickly gets clogged up by different ingredients. I think it would be better to have fewer sets of ingredients for each level (e.g. not adding herbs and sugar until level 5) but be able to do more with the ones you have (such as a tomato and lettuce and olive oil salad in level 1)
It's a really fun concept, there are just some issues with the execution.
