I finished the route and managed to reach a good ending (the good ending, possibly?). That was quite the rollercoaster ride!

The choice about how to deal with the sudden complication took me longer than any decision in the game has so far. I think the one I ultimately went with may have been the least painful option and it certainly played out smoothly (I couldn’t help but smile when Mother basically went “you abominations sure can frame a person” lol), but now I wonder if one of the other options that sounded really bad might actually turn out okay in practice. I have no doubt any of the options can end up playing quite differently, though
Also, boy was Francesca mean on this route. 😂 I tend to give her the benefit of the doubt and team up with her when possible, but I don’t think I would’ve this time. I love it how the different routes offer different perspectives on the characters.
Time to plunge back in. I’m morbidly curious of just how badly things can go wrong…
