I finished the route and managed to reach a good ending (the good ending, possibly?). That was quite the rollercoaster ride!

The Leo branch of the route is so freaking good!! I knew I was going to enjoy it but I'm honestly kind of blown away. It may actually be my favourite route so far, and that's in spite of it having a lot of stiff competition. I loved the way the relationship developed over time, especially starting from the initial proposal and the inception of the true alliance onward. Super enjoyable and honestly really touching.

I think I want to try Vesala's branch next assuming I can find my way onto it, haha. In any case, this update is phenomenal.

SPOILERS

I got the Tyrant Queen ending! I was really nervous about whether I'd be able to pull it off, but as soon as Mother declared for me I knew I had it in the bag, haha.

I spent most of the route vacillating between feeling bad for Guillaume and anticipating the look on his face once the plan came to fruition.

That was great fun! Wonderfully intricate and well-written! 

Next I'm going to take it from the top and see about some romance. I'll probably start with Leopold — I loved the dynamic he and Iolanthe had in the other 

Guillaume route, and while I didn't see much of him this playthrough, I was definitely intrigued by what I saw

(not that I was going to pursue him right off the bat since I played Iolanthe as uninterested in men this time around).

Super excited about the new route! However, for whatever reason I can't actually select the "No one" option when starting a new game. I tried different options and even re-downloaded the game (it's definitely the newest version since the ending list has updated), but I can't get it to work.

Even at 60% complete it's a MASSIVE game: I'm pretty sure each of the completed routes is at least as long as The Rose of Segunda is in its entirety. Honestly, I'm super impressed by how many routes we already have considering the sheer amount of work that must have gone into them and it's already one of my all-time favourite VNs.

I made this account specifically to leave a review for this game. I love The Rose of Segunda too, but this game is on another level. Already, it's one of my favourite VNs of all time.

It's honestly hard for me to decide what my favourite route is: they're all excellent. Ultimately, I think it might be Sofia's: I've always had a soft spot for her. Guillaume's was honestly painful to read at times, but in a good way where it's really stuck with me. I loved exploring the different outcomes on his route in particular. Overall, I'm really impressed by how smoothly you continue each of the stories from RoS.

Finally, I'd like to say your prose is excellent: wonderfully descriptive without ever feeling like too much. You imbue the characters with so much personality!
