It's been a looooong while since i played this game but not once has it left my mind ever since >< This game is truly something else, its so vivid and nostalgic, it really sticks with you, I loved the vibes of this game sooo much, the art and the music and everything else does such a good job of capturing the carefree atmosphere of being in highschool
Also I just read from an interview that y'all are from the Philippines? No wonder everything felt so candid and personal to me omg I'm also from the PH and I really felt connected to the small town vibes of seaview <3
it's been a while so the details are kinda fuzzy now and i might not be remembering everything right lol but i just really wanted to express my appreciation for this game and all its characters!!
Lori is such a relatable mc, she's literally me fr! It's such a joy to play as her haha her sociable yet also awkward personality down to her worries really resonated with me, growing up sheltered and feeling inexperienced about things compared to people in your age group is a canon event for every teenage girl who has strict parents and was too focused on academics only to question whether this is really all you want from life
I loooove Taylor so much, he's so charming! What can I say... I do have a soft spot for delinquents with a gentle side <3 His dynamic with lori is really sweet, the way he treats her has me absolutely swooning! I've always been a sucker for the opposites attract trope <3 Though i'm gonna admit, Reese has also really captivated me lol he's sooo my type, I really loved his dynamic with Lori, that swing scene really did me in, I'm still heartbroken at the fact that they're never getting back together but i remember reading in one of the devlogs that he's gonna be romanceable in another game! I'll definitely be on the lookout for it! He deserves to get some loving, and i wanna give it to him!!! Luke, in all his assholery, managed to get my attention too lol his chemistry with lori is surprisingly off the charts, his antics during the ball really managed to win me over, I think i remember reading that he's also gonna be romanceable in another game? Definitely looking forward to that one too!
I remember thinking right after i finished playing this "man i wish i could erase this game from my memory so i can play it again for the first time" well it's been about two or three years since then, i think it's about the perfect time for a replay!
I'm really glad to see that this game is still being worked on! It's carved a special place in my heart and I've grown attached to the world y'all have created and all the characters within it, they're so dear to me <3 keep up the good work, I'll be waiting for the update for as long as it takes!
