YOU'RE SO RIGHT He's so insufferable but sooo charming and it's so hard to deny him, I just kept folding for him every playthrough lmfao. He can't fool us with his asshole act anymore now that we've already seen his soft side, we Lane girlies stay delusional together 🙏 WE CAN CHANGE HIM!!! 

SPOILERS AND LONG REVIEW AHEAD! (like, an abnormally long length, and 90% of it is just a love letter to Lane, am I allowed to post a comment this long? I don't know, please help)

Lane is SO ANNOYING AND DISTASTEFUL BUT I CAN'T HELP BUT FALL IN LOVE WITH HIM ANYWAY and I really have to applaud you for that. I'm honestly amazed at the fact I still love him after all his bs. The way you characterized him is so perfect and stays true to his essence—he's awful in the exact way he should be. He's the type of guy that would ruin me in real life because I'll never be able to put my foot down the way MC does, yet somehow, I'm still so down bad for him lmfao. That little moment we had before BB enters the store in Shift 2? "I like how it feels," yeah, if it was me I wouldn't be able to resist and we would've kissed right at that moment lmfao

Still, despite his vulgar words and prickly exterior, I feel the only time Lane is being the most himself is when he goes quiet. He said he already discarded that soft part of himself when his ex broke his heart, but honestly, you can never get rid of your nature and who you truly are at your core, it will always show. The way he treats MC when she blacked out was so soft, everything about him was so soft—his hands when he cradled her face gently, when he put her hair in a ponytail, and when he tucked her in bed SOFT BOY LANE I KNOW YOU'RE STILL IN THERE, AND I'M GOING TO BUST YOU OUT WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT. 

I hope there'll be a future branch where if you call him out on his behavior enough, he might actually reflect on them. Because contrary to what he believes, he's really not that far gone. I've seen worse men, I'm not giving up on him, HE CAN STILL CHANGE I SWEAR!

He honestly overall just seemed like a normal guy who's flawed and has baggage, but then that graffiti made me do a double take, "I know what kind of guy he is and I hate that you give him attention." I had initially thought that Lane was the designated normal guy LI and BB was the yandere, but who said BB was the only yandere LI in this game? Lane's obsessive tendencies completely flew under the radar for me because BB's overt obsession completely stole the show, but truly, Lane might not seem as normal as he appears to be and I'm REALLY excited to see more of that side of him.

I admit I actually was initially a bit on edge around him since he seemed sleazy, but once I realized it's really all just bravado I just felt bad </3 I'm never going to ignore you Lane, stop acting like a prick just to get my attention, you already have it! I loved the small glimpses we got into his life—his ex, his old bartending job, and his home life. I really wanna know more about his home life especially, I feel like that's where most of his behavior stems from, which is honestly crazy considering Amelia is his sister. The contrast between him and Amelia is so intriguing, but they're almost like two sides of the same coin, what exactly happened there to make them both have such extreme viewpoints?

Lane almost gave me a conniption during that show down, like babe I love you but STOP THIS, LISTEN TO ME! I thought he was being so unreasonable but honestly, after you confront him about it, the way he reacts is so raw that I realized there was something more to this and that it wasn't just him running his mouth. I feel like in his own, fucked up way, he was trying to protect MC the only way he knows how—by barking. I don't feel intimidated by BB because I'm viewing this from the lens of a player, through a character that he likes, but I get that from Lane's point of view, a random 2 meter tall man just suddenly started hanging around, staring, and flirting with the girl he likes. If I was him, I'll probably be concerned too, especially since we don't even get to see BB's face. He could do absolutely ANYTHING and he'd get away with it because there'll be no one to identify him, that's TERRIFYING, he's definitely someone you should be on your guard with. After all that though, my take away is that sorry Lane, but I still want BB to keep hanging around <3 lmfao

BB reminds me of that quote that goes, "I'm not a violent dog, I don't know why I bite." He's usually really sweet, but he's TERRIFYING if you go down Lane's route. I know he'll never hurt MC, but I'm scared for Lane more than anything. When the lights went out I almost had a heart attack, I thought he was going to murder Lane in the dark or something LMFAO I should've trusted him more, if he wanted to murder Lane of course he'd do it when MC is not around, he wouldn't want Lane's blood to get on her after all lol. On a serious note, unlocking that hidden branch where I get to play in his POV had me reeling with excitement, it gave me a lot of material to analyze about BB. His thought process and the way he handles jealousy is so interesting—he contemplates murdering Lane but then he backs off because he thinks MC would hate it, I CHEERED he's the EXACT type of yandere I like. Lane you gotta hold onto my hand tight because there's a HIGH possibility that BB might steal me away if this keeps up lmfao. This branch definitely left me with a lot of questions (WHO THE HELL IS THE RED HELMET? Is this another sinister guy or is it BB since he also has a red helmet?) my curiosity is eating me alive and I'm waiting in bated breath for the answers!

I don't know if it was obvious (it was) but Lane is my favorite dog—which is very shameful considering how I really connected with Amelia's view on men lmfao I'm sorry Amelia I've failed you </3 I just can't help it, I feel like he really shined in Shift 2 and someone who gets me to talk about him for this long (whether positively or negatively...) is definitely someone special. He's so layered, complex, and interesting, I want to peel him like an onion until I get to his core. I'm so excited to see more of him and BB in Shift 3! Hopefully no more scuffles though... Boys, please get along. As MC once said, "I'd date both of you if you were one person."

This game is definitely gonna be my new hyperfixation and I can already feel that it'll stay in my head 24/7 for a good while. I'm so sorry for the long review but this game really gave me so much to yap about, so many branches, so many theories, and so many things to think about... You've really crafted an intricate world here and I'm super excited to dive deeper into it <3

This game's story really resonated with me deeply. Too many things hit me right where it hurt and it seriously had me thinking about stuff regarding myself and how my life is going, and I say this so positively because I try to avoid thinking about stuff that concerns that part of my life as much as I can so the fact that I was basically forced to confront it whilst playing makes this game something truly special.

The music direction for this IS SO GOOD, it sets the atmosphere so well, it actually had me bawling my eyes out several times, I'm honestly in awe.

MC and Morgan are both very compelling characters on their own, which makes the relationship between them even more interesting. Bearing witness to how their relationship blossoms and how it started fraying at the seams throughout the course of the game was heart wrenching. It really had me feeling the intensity of the grief they both carry, and I truly sympathize and heavily relate to them both, especially with the different ways they handle and respond to problems.

This game is honestly so masterfully crafted, I really want to applaud the dev for portraying a relationship that feels so real and so raw, as well as creating such soulful and multidimensional characters. I'm really excited to see where the story goes from here, especially after THAT cliffhanger.

I loved it! The game's art is very lovely and is reminiscent of the art style that royalty manhwas have which really helped in creating an immersive world. I also really liked how each scene is very dynamic, with moving characters that makes it feel like I'm watching the scene unfold instead of just reading it, it's very refreshing! The two LIs have different charms to them so I can't pick a favorite yet, but they both definitely interest me. The standout so far is definitely the MC, I loved her! Her design is gorgeous and she has a personality that's easy to root for!

Everything about this game seems intricately made and like a lot of work has been put into it, so the fact that you're a solo dev really surprises me! I wish you luck and I'll be watching this game's development with great interest! <3

It's been awhile since I first played this but I stumbled upon it again and decided to replay it, and it's still as good as I remember it to be! The 80's setting along with all of the characters are still as charming as ever! Timothy still reigns supreme in my heart, I love him and his 4th wall breaking antics so much <3 I can't wait to find out more about the story, Pandora's whole deal really intrigues me (I LOWKEY WANT THEM... LMFAO)

I saw that y'all launched a Steam page for the game and the changes to the UI along with the art look so good!! The little change in the CG with Timothy staring at the MC instead of the window has me blushing and kicking my feet lol I'm super excited for the updated demo to drop!! <3

the moment Rumi warned me to stay away from Gani I KNEW he would be my favorite lmfao what can I say... I DO have terrible taste in men <3 also when I said they looked cute and they immediately blushed??? oh Gani you adorable fool... I love you Rumi but I fear this gremlin has bewitched me <3

I ALSO LOVED AKIRA He's so cute <3 I really sympathize with him and I'm glad that we can be super nice and patient with him because that's exactly what he deserves!!!

Also I love the fact that I can tell Genesis that I'm also Filipino!! <3 It's nice to see representation in unexpected places! It's such a small thing but I felt some sort of camaraderie with them after that fact lol

THIS GAME HAD ME BLUSHING AND SMILING LIKE A DAMN FOOL THE ENTIRE TIME OMFG It's exactly what I needed as a pick me up before I have to brave through the damned waters of college again just a few hours from now

ALSO THE VOICE ACTOR DID SUCH A GREAT JOB I AM LITERALLY SOOO IN LOVE He really brought Asher to life!! HIS VOICE IS PERFECT It was really the highlight of the game for me!!

ANYWAY if it wasn't obvious yet, VERY GREAT GAME 10/10 I wish my college final project experience for Interpersonal Communication went like this too but I fear that would be too much to ask for </3 lmfao

I AM OBSESSED This game's writing is so lovely and all of the characters are so compelling!! I have been bewitched entirely by Nulla's charms, the inner dialogues are honestly so accurate because yes, I WILL do anything this man asks me to 😭 His memory path's end actually made me tear up, it was so heartbreaking! I will forever hold that little note of his close to my heart forever

I love this game and its characters so much!! All of the LIs are so loveable I'm actually having a hard time choosing favorites >< The vibes are so cozy and I loved exploring the differences between the experience and dialogue of each one of the MC's personalities! This game is so intricate and well made you could really feel all the love poured into making it <3

OH MY GOD ANOTHER GAME TO BE OBSESSED WITH I LOOOOOVED FFS Northern Duke, so I already knew I was gonna love this one as well! Anything made by you guys is always sure to be a treat <3 I'm definitely excited to see the full version for this one, the demo already has me sooo intrigued!!

SPOILERS ahead for those that haven't played the game yet!!!

So I actually played this game first without having played the mainline game Arcane Dice Wars, so I went into this completely blind without knowing anything about the world of ADW, but surprisingly I had no trouble understanding things. I was initially worried that I would be lost but this game does a good job of easing you into the world of ADW and actually works great as an introduction to the series!

First second of looking into the game page I was IMMEDIATELY smitten with Jeth, which was to be expected, I do have a thing for blondes and rogues 😭 My love for him further developed the moment I met him in game and he was exactly how I expected him to be; sly, cunning, charming, you know, the whole package! I think that really did me in, like I WAS HOPELESSLY IN LOVE, I WAS READY TO RISK IT ALL FOR THIS MAN

And then the foreboding dreams started, and, well, instead of being deterred by them it just intrigued me and made me more interested in him lol. He was giving very much "I'd let the world burn for you" vibes and I was ALLLLL for it  

And hoo boy, did he let the world burn indeed LMFAO that one ending of his really shocked me! "I knew you wouldn't want to go back without me" sent literal shivers down my spine, like... Yeah, you're right but DAMN 😭 Despite it all tho I feel like this was my favorite ending of his lol. I just really liked how it ties to those dreams we kept having, it's like everything finally went full circle.

And there's also that matter with him pointing a blade to my neck when I refused the eternal pendant... I was taken aback but hey, I went into this knowing the man has serious issues, I'm RIDE OR DIE for him now, it will take more than that to drive me away <3 lol

Also I remember jesting to myself that I would've loved to have a 'Water Mage' route before I found out his real identity, so imagine my surprise when I found out I can ACTUALLY romance him in the mainline game, Arcane Dice Wars! I can't believe I never connected the dots lol but I am pleasantly delighted by this turn of events as I was very distraught over his fate in the dungeons, I kept visiting him in the hopes that things will somehow get better but they just got worse haha </3

I've already been wanting to go for a 'good' side run since I felt like that was really what my MC stands for, but ultimately Lor's sad fate is what really pushed me to go for the Brookhaven route, and it's funny because Katnir asks me "What made you join our side?" and all I could think of was "...Lor..." LMFAO I'd pay to see that as an actual dialogue option 

Also me and the Brookhaven route have beef for making me believe I got the 'best' possible ending just for it to end like that 😭 The Lor lover in me laments but the Jeth lover in me lowkey sees it as a win lol. It makes me laugh thinking back to how Jeth joked about kidnapping the Transient One just for him to ACTUALLY go and do it 😭 

Anyway, I am DEFINITELY rushing to go play ADW right now, I need more of Lor and Jeth!! Even if I can only simp for Jeth now in the sidelines lol I suppose it's Lor's turn now to get some loving from the Transient One, GODS know he deserves it 

This game is actually waaayyy longer than I expected! I think I spent like a good 20 hours on this, probably would be longer once I go for the other endings that aren't just Jeth's and the Brookhaven ending

I still have a WHOOOLE LOT to say about this game but I'm afraid I've already rambled too much lol. All in all I just wanted to say that I LOVE THIS GAME VERY MUCH and I'm definitely looking forward to more installations in the ADW universe! I'm actually quite shocked that this isn't more popular, everything about this game is so well made, it deserves way more attention! I'm definitely gonna be yapping about this game to my friends for weeks to come lol.

Now let me scurry off and play ADW now lol I need to satisfy my Lor and Jeth brainrot, I want more time with these new found blorbos 🏃‍♀️

Hello!! I just finished the game and I didn't expect to get so attached to Cam! I hope he gets to appear in another game as well, he's so endearing, I'd love to see him again somewhere! <3 What can I say... Shy blonde boys are my kryptonite lol 

This game was such a fun ride and the fact that its your first one actually surprises me!! It's very apparent how your quality of work has immensely improved over the years considering how good and intricate the whole world of the Purgatory verse games is, but this game definitely has a special charm to it! The setting, the characters' dynamics, the mystery still left hanging... Lots of things to think about! This game is def gonna stay with me for a while, for all the reasons mentioned above but also just for the sole fact that it has Cam the loml in it lol I just love him a lot!!

Also I'm so glad Bliss got that second life, he's an amazing character and it was interesting to see him in a different time and setting! <3

I thoroughly enjoy the Purgatoryverse series so stumbling upon this was such a nice surprise, I didn't know Bliss appeared in another game! It's quite sad to see that production on this game has been halted but it's all good! I'm gonna go and munch little by little on this like a precious beloved treat lol I'm sure it's gonna be another wonderful game!

First of all, I really appreciated the variety on how the Day 1 date would go based on which club activity the MC chose, so props to that! 

I can understand and relate to the MC's inner turmoil but on the other hand I am also already extremely in love with Satoshi sooo... you could already guess which path I'm going to take LMFAOOO I could never do anything to hurt this cutie! 

This demo was so cute and wholesome, (I can already see the amount of potential angst on the horizon lol) I can't wait to see more of Satoshi and MC!! <3

I finished the game and got all 4 of the endings, and all I can say is this is such a cute fun game! Roy is super charming! <3 The MC is super relatable lol, and I also loved the narrator's quirkiness! The music in the title screen sounds super cute and fits the overall vibe of the game, I love it!!

So excited to see that the release is coming soon! I missed my boys Dex and Grey

i assume it's because the game itself is a project collaboration with different artists that's why the art styles are different, but i do get you! i was also a bit surprised and put off by that fact the first time around but i've come to get used to it, the different art styles all have their own charms anyway :)

I LOVE THIS GAME and i find it funny how even tho I know completely that Ren is crazy obsessed with us (and is definitely the guy who broke into our house and is behind the recent murders in town...) I JUST CAN'T BE MEAN TO HIM OR REFUSE HIM HE'S SO IRRESISTIBLE 😫 LMFAO

THE ART IS GORGEOUS and I loved the classical background music!!! I managed to find out who did it pretty quickly, but the story is still great nonetheless! The fact that this was made in 48 hours is truly shocking, it's nice and I enjoyed it!
