Reworking a battle system is fun stuff, sometimes you just gotta sit with it for a while and go through a few iterations before you find what really clicks with your game. Even if the players don't see it immediately, it'll definitely pay off later!
I can't believe you were battling cancer but I absolutely can believe you kicked its ass! Thank you for sharing your experience--you never really know what kind of things a person can be going through. So glad to hear you have a great support system and can now leave that experience in 2025.
