Performance issues: You need to enable graphics acceleration in your browser settings. Then it runs smoothly (at least for me).
I like the idea; it reminds me of the game "Cosmoteer." Unfortunately, I also had problems creating the spaceship. More precisely, I couldn't install the engine. I tried for about five minutes.
However, the YouTube video clearly showed that it can work and looks quite good.
