Nice entry, and great spin on the jrpg turn based combat!

The UI had a couple issues, like the head slot doing nothing and the attack icons were unreadable for me.

Customizing the limbs and weapons was fun, but it was hard to tell what effect they were going to have on the game.

I'd recommend starting out the player with an intro battle so they can see that instead of guessing.

The gameplay:

The combat felt somewhat buggy, I couldn't tell what most of the numbers were doing.

I assigned my attacks to the enemies instead of over my own character, and took some trial and error to figure out what the lines going across were doing.

After the first round my character disappeared.

The aesthetic was cool and sfx were very satisfying, good job!

thanks! im planning to continue in r2 if i get in, how did you assign attacks to your enemeies? i tested it and you cant change their attacks?, for the weapons they give you attacks, the attacks they give you is in the right side of the screen for equipment! (and the reason your characther dissapeared was beacuse they died)

Here is video, I'm sure I'm missing something but i hope it helps!

ohhh, so yeah slotting attacks into the enemies plays the sound effect.. but doesnt really change the neemies attack or do anything except consuming your attacks. will fix that!  also for the player dissapearing thing, i have no idea why that is
