Nice entry, I loved the recap of your decisions at the end!

I noticed a long hangup (I'm on firefox, thought it was frozen) at the start of the combat phase, maybe initializing lighting and particles at the start of the game would prevent this.

For customization, I think it would help the player understand the effects if there were a stats panel or something showing current values for everything that events can affect.

There are two ways someone could judge how easy it is to customize the character here (going #2 on yours):

1) I have no idea what will happen when I click a choice, so it is not easy.

2) Events inevitably customize the character, so it is easy in that it happens in the course of narrative without additional input.

The music, narrative, and aesthetic were well done, good job!

Thanks for the feedback, a stats panel is a great idea, wish I would have thought of it! As for judging customization I would personally lean towards 1 as being fair, I didn't intend for it to be as opaque as it is but I got into the weeds on some other issues and was just glad to have something submittable. My original intent was to give hints as to what would be effected but not how so the player could decide if they wanted to gamble.

I think the hangup is related to audio resource loading on the web build as it started after an SFX pass late in development and doesn't occur in the native builds.
