Really awesome art! Was very ethereal and cool! The ending kinda confused me, the friend lost their spark at a fog wall, I looked around a bit but didn't see anything obvious for how to continue. Then I found my way to clip past the fog wall and went up the hill for a while, before I decided I wasn't meant to be there and jumped off. It reset me at the start, I found a glowing flower and interacting with it killed the lil friend for some reason? And I interacted with the next flower a bit further up and it just ended? Felt mostly confused about all that.
I really like the vibe of it all though! Going around to interact with nature and gain new abilities to explore, like some kinda chill-relaxing metroidvania, can imagine there being lots of potential!

Thank you so much for playing and for the feedback!
I think the interaction system glitched out at the end there.. The final scene should have taken place on a top branch, but it seems the player spawn position is off.
The concept for the story, essentially, when the player opens the third and last flower, the companion is struck by spark energy (and loses itโs spark / is overloaded). Player picks it up and carries on. The player holds the body parts to the final area, where it revives at the base of another flower. The final scene (that seems mostly glitched in the jam build) is that the friend is transformed into another Fae / Faery. If you watch the last couple of minutes of the demonstration video you can see what is supposed to happen!
