That’s why I usually kill the dragon immediately once I get 13 hearts for the first time.

i tried to get a full board clear but i miscalculated the xp...
You don’t need to save the dragon for last just to get a full board clear. You can keep going after you kill it and get its XP as long as you don’t click the crown that appears where it was.
i didn't know that at the time so...at least I know now i guess
