I think they missed the post mine king mines, but who knows the theoretical max xp you can get without the mines is 322, well within the 303 limit.  

You can absolutely 100% the game. The best you can do is 365 with 13  hearts left, but that would be the single luckiest game  EVER, but getting 365 is completely doable. And no, the exp builds up and is usable until you use it. 

Did you find the gnome?  I wont spoil what happens but you need to find him. 
Did you kill the Mine King?  His scroll turns all mines into free exp

I've been playing it 1-80 times a day for over a year, it makes my brain happy as well

That guide is for v1.0.0, it was updated back in...... I wana say February,  and it plays a little different. 

he hides in empty spaces, if there are any empty spaces when you find him he moves, if there are no more empties he will turn into 9 exp instead. 

First:  CONGRADULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I member back when I did that the first time, great feeling. 

Second: Yea, once you get total slaughter it sticks on that image every other time you ever finish it. Not sure if it's a bug or a feature. Sometimes I play in an Incognito window just to see the original ending,

I've used the cheat code to max it, and yea, it's 13 hearts. Been playing this game almost daily for 9+ to 10+ months now (depending on weither you count v.1 or not) and 9 IS a very good score. Best i've ever gotten without cheating was 10, and I only did it once. 

The real shockers, the best games as it were, are when you have exactly 3 hearts left and there is exactly one bricks left, skin of the teeth, so satisfying 

AND mines, mines seem to have no patern

And no, the 2s and 3s seem to be the only random pieces, or perhaps there is someone out there who will find the patern and we will all go "WOW, YOU IS RIGHT"

HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!!!!  you are right. I've been playing this game CONSTANTLY since January, and I never notices that. 

YES, there are 4  Guardians (Hp/EXP 7) and I have only now, thanls to you,  I see that they show their place in in the grid on their shields..... So I assume there is only one per quadrant.

And that's about all there is to learn about this amazing game. Everything else is a matter of a little luck, a lot of math, and a bold attitude. My advice is to go random to start, throw a few randoms and if you get lucky (4 or 5 revealing squares, hitting the wizard r rat king first shot, ect.....) THEN use the orb and play more cautious from there, but you do you.

and no, never pulled it off naturaly, max I've done is 10, wouldn't think it's statistically posible to do it without cheating, BUT this game is so popular,  even 9 months after it released, there is enough to pull it off once. pure anomily.

Just give it time, you'll learn that there are behaviours and clues that are deeper than just the numbers. Keep playing, you'll get it. 

Also there is a cheat code, you can find it in the comments if you look back far enough, it's cheating but it's great for studying the game and experimenting once you master it. 

Ok, that's AMAZING, I've been plating this for months, Since ver1 and forever after the update, got the cheat code an all to study and master n'shit ..... and I NEVER not once EVER noticed the red eye looking at the Gargoyle's partner. Thats so sick, I love it and I THANK YOU.

I've been playing for months, LITERALY months, so adictive.... My best 100% had 8 hearts left.... anyone else do beter? Is it possible to get 9?

The top best you can do is end with a clear bord, 13 hearts and 10 XP. I've done it with the cheat mode on but never irl. It's tricky but I THINK it's possible
