So i tried this method, it does not work UNLESS you have the return to room perk when dealing with the Photo, grope, gift loop. F1 x10 "works" to restore the button, but the button doesnt actually work.
Did you talk with Anna after doing that, the F1 brings the UI back but the hallway button doesnt work until after you speak to Anna
