Once you're in the same room with the elite, go into gear and put on Glace or Violett
Oh, you mentioned Glace here. How do you get the second inferno orb? I looked up that you're supposed to get it by going to the lion temple again but there's nothing there when I go.
I've been to the grotto entrance; the fact that that's there is why I went looking for the second inferno ball in the first place. If it's bugged it's fine, but it'd be nice to know if it is just bugged or if there's some story progress condition somewhere.
