I played all the way through the 10 and it was very pleasant time spent. I think I had 4 or 5 of them done before I realized I could move the screen, so it was getting a bit DENSE. Then I just moved over and built all grass, birch trees, etc. to gather the last of them with the clues given. A bit easy with all of the clues unlocked on the card, but it's not clear what makes those go from ??? to the clue about where to put them.
The music and sfx are ace... made me feel peaceful.
I think my only complaint on the entire experience is that the motions/flights of the birds could use a lot of polish. Currently when you get a ton of birds going it looks awkward and just a bunch of diagonal lines diving or rising at the same angle in a straight shot line, etc..
How long was this jam? Anyway I love the work - thanks for putting it up!
Hey, I'm so happy you enjoyed it and thank you so much for all the detailed feedback!
You're not the only one who missed the screen could be moved, should've communicated that better. The game is indeed very easy, since it was for a cozy jam I wanted it to be very chill, but I probably went to far. The clues are revealed when you place a related feature, so if the clue is "Next to a Birch Tree" then it would uncover if you placed a birch tree (unfortunately this system encourages spamming down features to get all the clues.
It was quite a long jam, but I could only spend about a week on the game in the end. Definitely a lot I could've polished, like bird behaviours when there are too many of them.
I'm actually working on a full version of the game that should address all of these points. Hopefully I manage to do bring the vision to its full potential :D
