Fun little platformer. Love the artstyle. I think the ropes should not block the player, but just give the player the possibility to climb.

First of all, I would like to thank you for your comment. This rope is indeed designed for climbing. You can try jumping onto the rope and then hold down the 'w' or 's' keys to move up and down. You can also hold down the 'j' and 'w' keys to shoot the rope upwards, which will help you reach the higher platforms.
