Haha thanx RetroGamma! Well the good news is that it is 98% complete, the not so good news is that it is currently in stasis due to zero adoption from itch.io and our subsequent transition to âHigher Levelâ projectsâŠ
However, this project is still on track for a late q1 release, so stay tuned!!! :D
OH and yes, we are tying in AI to the project templating core!
Apologies for the long delay in replying. âUnfortunately,â FutureVision Labs has a lot more on the Slab that itch ambitions ;) However we have recently shipped a major website project - PLRPOD.Com and now post-celebration we are circling around to previous passion projects of six months ago (which include GameForge series tooling). Donât let that get your hopes up for a soon-launch tho, we are tackling VIBE IDE first. We do value your interest however, so if you would like to be an exclusive alpha tester, at least, msg /reply here with your contact details and I promise I will get back to you promptly with project details and an alpha test package so you can at least experience the âcurrentâ cool features of the app.
Cheers,
Damian Caynes CEO/Founder FutureVision Labs
hecks yes i'd like to get involved in your retro tool gameforge c64/amiga. zartan917 at aol.com contact me. theres IT'S HERE (almost)THE C64 GAME CREATOR #ep1 which looks cool but seems to difficult (for me) im curious to see how your software handles stuff. Either way Commodore rocks! :)
Excellent! Yeah when a game dev tool professes no-code but still has a steep learning curve, such as Game Maker or Construct 2 style event based tools or even mild custom scripting (which I assume Game Creator leans towards), sometimes it doesnât feel so worth the trouble. ;) as youâd know reading the devlogs, a modern node visual scripting based editor is a modern convention like Unity/Unreal and very accessible. However, Gameforge is more in the âadvanced toy tech demoâ phase still currently - interface done, mad SID player done, but node based editing may be active the âtranspilerâ to c64 code output is not. But having alpha testers onboard will inspire us to get back to active dev more quickly. :) <3 Expect an email later today :)
