I really like this game and the characters. After playing different paths I have to say I'm really curious about Adrian. I totally missed his cg on my first plays. And I got none of his echoes (so if anyone have a tip, I probably missed an obvious choice I'll retry later).

So my questions are : will we see him more ? And will he be one of the interests (let me hope even though it's probably a bad idea ~) ?

I really liked Lucas too, I think he is a nice new addition. I'm curious to see the dynamics in the new team, especially if we can be the coach of 4 fighters (I saw it will be in season 2).

I’m really happy to hear you’re enjoying Trueclash that much heheh.

Regarding Adrian, I think it really comes down to personal taste, and we’re in a safe space here to explore that kind of thing (gaming). As long as you don’t end up dating someone like him in real life, I think you’ll be fine xDD

I think games can be healthy both as a way to tell a story and as a space to explore riskier dynamics that wouldn’t necessarily be good to live out in real life. So I totally get why you might feel attracted to Adrian. He’s challenging, among many other traits he has.

As for whether he’ll become a main romance, you probably already have some insight if you’ve explored everything with him and paid attention to what he says and does when you side with him. To avoid spoilers, I won’t go much further than that, especially since some of the things I have planned could still change.

I’ve also been talking with Patreons about branching and choices, and they’ve helped put me at ease and even gave me some ideas. For now, my mindset is this:
If something feels cool and meaningful to explore, I’ll try to implement it. If I can’t because it would require too many changes, I’ll keep the idea and maybe come back to it later, allowing that option to exist and develop further.

A quick example related to Adrian: you can help him early on, and that leads to an ending if you do exactly what he wants. But if one day I have more manpower or feel like expanding what’s already there, I could come back and turn that ending into a different continuation instead. You get the idea?

And about the dynamics of the new team, for now yes, the maximum would be four team members. But since the game is still in development, that can always change ;)

Gaming is a safe place where you can like as many red flags as you wish and it’s great as long you have a discerning eye IRL. We all know some people really like the mysterious character in some game where you don’t get any info and when he is 50% of time a red flag. So no, no worries, game is fun just be careful people in real life (and be as free as you want in games !).

I totally did not see more of his dialogues and echoes but him having a CG, echoes and maybe not a totally bad side when rescuing Lucas eh you can hope. I’ll try to get everything to have more clues on his future. And I’ll cross my fingers during that time.

Plus with the right or wrong angle you can see everything as a relationship with some toxicity or maybe really cute. In his way Diego is red flag with his past and tattoos (not saying he is one but you could imagine he is one), same for our dear best friend so much lost in his grief and thinking he is rightful he ignore his best friend and coach hurting him and diminishing his worth (again do you see him that way or are you just seeing someone you love hurting so much they also lost their way and you’ll be there for them or the reason why they’ll find it again ?). And it could be easy to make a list for every character that’s why it’s interesting to see and hear everyone without judging before they act. I can’t wait to see their evolutions ~.

Patreon folks gave you the right advice, as creators should write and create what they want and what is fun to make for them. After all they came with the first idea on the game and we, players, like it so the best we can do is say I like this one, this dynamic or maybe give advices when the creator have questions. We’re not entitled to anything, we’re just here to enjoy the ride (and the game, definitely the game) !
