I'm using "Go" in my current project Outside The Lines. Fits quite well I appreciate it.

This is a fun game! I got to level 49 before things got too fast for me to run away from. I love all the little details you have with how the color splats have the same shape as the parent shape. Reminds me of a platformer game called Ink (https://zackbellgames.itch.io/ink)

Oh wow that game is pretty. Never heard of it so thank you for updating my library of games. I'm glad you like it! The attention to the detail is very much appreciated! Might be hard to tell but i actually have your songs pitch dynamic based on the timer to give it more of a speed feel as the game progresses. It really works well Imo.

I did notice, yeah! I also like the detail when XP orbs are dropped they blob together so they are easier to collect :)

Actually thank you for pointing that out from a gameplay perspective because I've been seeing it as extra space for the CPU haha. Glad that part translates well. Unintended as it is. Again though, appreciate the attention to detail! <3

Another way to handle this (I think this is how Vampire Survivors does it) is that if the pickup gets too far away from the player, it despawns and the value gets added to a "bonus" pool. Then when you beat a boss (or just the next enemy) that bonus value gets added to the new pickup. That way nothing is really wasted sitting 20 screens away from the player.

Omg thank you that's brilliant will be implementing that. Will prob have it such that it divides evenly on all on next wave spawn. First idea that comes to mind at least. Thank you for all the useful information!

Yeah definitely! I want to make a survivors-like game at some point, so I've done a lot of research haha. Best of luck on the game, if you post updates, I'll check 'em out!
