This game is incredibly well-written, and I absolutely adored the new update!
I think Soren is a fascinating character and also one of the scariest I have encountered in a yandere visual novel. While he isn’t outwardly reactive or immediately violent, his brand of obsession and manipulation feels like a quiet seeping insidiousness that is completely hidden under the guise of love and care.

The fact that he knew already that MC was planning to break up with him and said nothing, but spent time formulating a plan to either get MC back or get back at them was chilling. His actions show how intelligent, calculative and manipulative he can be, along with his willingness to play the long game so that he can get what he wants.
It’s so horrifying to see him use his love for the MC as a form of manipulation as well. And tragically sad that MC is the worst match for him because of how susceptible she is to this behaviour.
Her trauma with past romantic relationships and even relationships with family has shaped her in a way that she sees herself so poorly. She doesn’t blame others but herself. And in a way that’s so perfect for Soren, who has crafted the perfect textbook hallmark boyfriend persona. Because he appears to be kind, gentle, perfectly poised, handsome, and thoughtful. A complete 180 to MC’s previous relationships. To the point where in some scenarios, Soren doesn’t see himself as the issue; rather, he is disappointed and blames someone else by accusing the MC of cheating. Because to him, how could he be the problem when he’s got everything under control? To him, the only possibility must be a third party that he can’t control. All of these nuances and layers to his character make him so incredibly fascinating to get to know throughout your story.
And it really makes me wonder as well. How much of MC’s bad feelings and unease about the relationship did she wrongfully blame on herself due to her poor self-esteem? Rather than see it for what it could be: that her supposedly kind boyfriend is not as nice as he seems.
Thank you so much for the wonderful experience. The game is truly written with so much care and passion for the story that I was gripped in every moment. Soren is so perfectly disarming, and I feel so horrible for the MC, who is struggling so much. He really is potentially her worst enemy to face.
The art is gorgeous, and I was so happy seeing more sprites in-game too! I adore the co-worker’s design!
