Hi! The files on our Itch.io page are in a compressed .zip format. 

To play the game: Right-click the downloaded ZIP file and choose “Extract” (or “Extract All”). If you don’t see an extraction option, you may need to install a program like 7-Zip or WinRAR. Once extracted, a new folder will appear, named something like: "Howtobreakupwithyouryandereboyfriend-V0.2.1_Added_Chinese_Translation-(PC/Mac/Linux depending on your device)." Open that folder and look for the .exe file: HowToBreakUpWithYourYandereBoyfriend.exe (or the equivalent for your OS). Double-click the file to launch the game.
